Personalized Grief Meditations to Help Heal Grief

COPING METHOD TO HELP HEAL GRIEF

Grief Sucks... Plain and simple. The only thing we want, we can’t have. If there was anything we could wish for in the entire universe, it would be to have our loved one back. We wish for a result that can never be.

During grief, you may experience overwhelming sadness, anxiety, confusion, foggy memory, uncontrollable sobbing, appetite and sleep pattern changes, social isolation... These are just a few of the symptoms of dealing with loss and they will leave you feeling alone, helpless and drained – emotionally and physically.

Grief is such a lonely journey, as you really do have to manage it on your own. You may have supportive family, friends, and professionals, but ultimately, you have to swim through the tides by yourself. The waves can come without notice and drop you to your knees. Grief will have you clawing at your core, just to rid yourself of the hurt and anguish. There will be times when the pain is so raw that you aren’t sure that you will survive it. Somehow, we struggle to our feet but it is not easy.

When I lost my teenage son, my mind just couldn’t accept that this tragedy was unfixable. All throughout my life, I was able to conquer obstacles and overcome challenges but when death hit my personal world, I couldn’t handle that fact that there was absolutely nothing I could do to change what had happened. There wasn’t going to be a magic fix that could make everything go back to the way I wanted it. I was a mess, as my mind wouldn’t accept that this final outcome was all I had to face for the rest of my life.

I began to read books for months and months... Something started to come to my realization after reading so many viewpoints about death, that I began to understand that there is something more going on beyond this physical world.

My hope began to grow and I experimented with a variety of ways to give my mind release from the pain of tormenting grief. I not only started to analyse all the coincidences that I believed were coming from my son, but I also started to converse with him. This method of coping flourished into a way for me to survive. I want to help you by extending an invisible link to your loved one, so that you too can begin to heal.  Listen to the video below for more details:
